Baby Box - Supporting babies in the North East to have the best start in life.
How can your donations help?
- £5 – will buy baby books.
- £20 – Will buy a baby blanket, books, fitted sheets, and a thermometer.
- £50 – will buy a baby blanket, travel changing mat, bath towel, bath mitt, sensory toys, books, and a digital thermometer.
Donate a whole box £250 – will buy an entire baby box with a mattress, bedding, essentials, developmental toys, and books to get families started with baby care
Building the foundations for a happy, healthy life begins in infancy.
Led by parents, midwives, health visitors and family nurses our Baby Box has a unique focus on baby development and is packed with developmentally stimulating books and toys with a focus on laughing, playing, reading, singing and counting.
The box contains essentials like a blanket, changing mat, bath towel, and thermometer to get families started with baby care.
Our goal is give a helping hand to new parents and to give every child the best start so they can lead healthy, happy lives.

Baby Boxes For First Time Parents
Newcastle campaign aims to provide baby boxes to first-time parents and their newborns. The baby box is built to give newborn babies in vulnerable families, the ‘best’ start in life.
The new free baby box Make a Million (MaM) campaign will launch in mid-June and go to the most vulnerable families in Gateshead and Newcastle. The box will also include developmentally stimulating toys, games, and books around the key themes: love and laugh, play, read, sing and talk and count.
