MAKE SERIOUS STUFF (RUN) FUN

The Great North Run will take place on Sunday 7th September 2025 and we have 35 spaces available for charity runners who want to take on the challenge and raise money to support our work at the same time.

Every penny you raise will help us to:

• Get young people in the region active through our Couch to 2K sessions
• Put Baby Boxes into the hands of first-time parents across the North East
• Support children and young people to have conversations about mental health
• Work with children not in full-time education to build confidence and skills through our allotment projects
• Engage children and young people receiving treatment at the QE hospital with stories and craft activities

The Great North Run is renowned for being the world’s biggest half marathon, attracting 60,000 runners each September to its famous course from Newcastle upon Tyne to the coast at South Shields.

This is your chance to be part of the greatest day of running in the calendar. Have fun, achieve a fitness goal, and join an amazing running community no matter your experience or ability. The run will take place on Sunday 7th September 2025 and entry is only £65 with a pledge to raise £300 for The Children’s Foundation through the event. If you would like to take part in The Children’s Foundation, we would love to hear from you.
